EUROPE – TRANSITION FROM TRADITIONAL TO MODERN SOCIETY
Our project concentrates on the cultural transition of our countries from traditional to modern society. Students go back to the 19th and 20th century and explore the changes in the society in their countries. They first illustrate the traditional way of living – their traditional cultural heritage, and follow the transition and the reasons which make it happen. They discover the brand new image of their modernized countries - industrialization, the open society, the new relations between people and the new life-styles.
Students will have the chance to meet and compare their countries by several cultural aspects. Finally, the knowledge they produce will be summarized in a book, CD, photo album and other materials which will be widely distributed.
